Prayer
Psalm 3:6 – I lay down and slept, I awaken, for the Lord sustains me.
Prayer…what does it mean? How should we pray? Does prayer really work? These questions fill the minds of most of us, and only if we have a relationship with the Lord, can we truly understand the power of prayer. In a nutshell, prayer is talking, meditating and listening to God. Through this we know that only through Jesus Christ we are conquerors and winners. Our prayer life can be private and intimate where we can get away quietly to be alone with God; where we can hide and make our yearnings and desires known to Him. I encourage you to find the time, as well as, the place to bring your heart to God. Jesus said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.” Prayer is praising, honoring, and exalting the Lord. This brings glory to Him and God loves the praises of His people. I wish to inspire you to stay in God’s will. Continue to love Him and He will always sustain you. Let’s Pray…Father we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We love you, Father, and we honor your name. We ask that you would draw us closer and help us to understand what your will is for our lives. Bless our children, our families, our health, and our homes. Father, help us to see your vision for us, and lead us in the right direction. Now, Father sustain us and give us hope. We are grateful to you for thinking of us and for bringing us thus far
